As a photographer, I use black & white, colour, and Polaroid transfers to create images and portraits for exhibition and sale. A career background in technology and instrument design has led me to use the camera as a precision tool to express my artistic abilities. I have exhibited at various art gatherings and had a successful business in wedding and commercial photography. This was a parallel occupation to my technical career for more than twenty years. I have been awarded prizes in contests such as a Kodak regional newspaper event and company sponsored events. This will be my third year participating in the “Art Walk”. I also exhibited in the inaugural event of “Wild at Art”. Phone: 604-815-1707 |

"As a commercial photographer, I find myself using many tools of photography (filters, lenses, photoshop, etc) to 'manipulate' images so that they look appealing but and with the goal of keeping production efforts relatively transparent. Photography is often presented as a depiction of what the human eye sees. In reality, this is rarely true. With my personal work, i explore the idea of creating images that show subject manner in a way or context that the human eye would not necessarily be able to render. In using the same production tools I use commercially, I like to manipulate images to present a unique view - one that someone might not necessarily see if they were standing beside me when i took the photograph.
